Good Record-Keeping Habits​

  • Use consistent animal names or tag numbers.
  • Add records when chores happen instead of waiting until the end of the week.
  • Put dates on health, vaccine, breeding, feed, and finance records.
  • Keep notes short but specific enough to explain what happened.
  • Export records before shows, sales, vet appointments, or end-of-season reviews.
